Guarding & Response
Manned guarding
Uniformed officers for offices, homes, industry and institutions, planned around each site.

Officers posted where your site needs them: gates, receptions, perimeters, car parks and loading areas. They are the people your staff, visitors and contractors meet first, so they set the tone of the site as well as keeping it secure.
Every officer is recruited locally, background-checked before employment and trained on a two-to-three-week course tailored to your industry. Officers work 12-hour shifts with relievers, so a post is never left empty, and operations staff visit the site regularly to check standards.
What it includes
- Access control at gates and receptions: checking who comes in, and recording visitors and vehicles
- Patrols of the premises on a set route, with the points that matter checked each time
- An occurrence book at every post, recording what happens on each shift
- A handover between shifts, so the incoming officer knows what is still open
- Reports of anything unusual to your management and to Red Sky’s operations team
- Uniforms and equipment supplied, maintained and replaced at Red Sky’s expense
How it works
- A free site risk assessment of your premises.
- We agree the posts, hours and duties with you, and set them out in post instructions.
- Officers are selected and briefed on your site before the first shift.
- Supervisors and operations staff check every post, and we review performance with your management regularly.
Where it fits
- Commercial buildings: receptions, car parks and patrols after hours
- Residential estates: gate control and a familiar, consistent presence
- Manufacturing and industry: gates, loading bays and shift changes
- Education: controlled entry and safe arrival and collection
Works well with
- Mobile patrol and response: backup when an officer calls for help
- CCTV controllers: eyes on the areas a post cannot see
- Alarms and panic buttons: a way for officers and staff to raise the alarm at once
Questions clients ask
Can officers follow our own procedures?
Yes. Your procedures go into the post instructions for the site, and officers are briefed on them before they start.
What happens when an officer is sick or on leave?
Shifts run with relievers, so the post stays covered. A relief officer is briefed on the site before taking over.
How do we know the posts are being kept?
Supervisors and operations staff visit regularly, every post keeps an occurrence book, and we review performance with your management team.
